“The Death List”

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforce: Yea, saith the Spirit that they may rest from labours; and their works do follow them.

                                                     Revelation 14:13

I was inspired by the Holy Spirit five days before the death of my Father to convey a message to the church (The body of Christ). The message is “Where is your name on Death’s List?” My Father often preached this sermon to us growing up as children. He would say, “It is once appointed to men once to die then the judgment.” And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this   the    judgment.

                                                       Hebrews 9:27 

“I do not care who you are, or who you think you are, you will have to leave here one day, were my Father’s words to us.” My Father was a realist and he taught us how to deal in reality. My Father was the greatest man ever lived and I loved my Father very much but, Death had his name on “His List”.

Where is your name my Sisters and Brothers on “Death’s List?" People say Prophets are scary people because we preach on subjects that most Preachers do not think to preach on or too afraid to speak on. Never-the-less, call me spooky if you want but, this word from God will be preached today!

What you think about Prophetess Roberts is your personal business and personally, I do not care. I was not called to be your friend. Neither, was I called to care about your feelings towards me.  I was called by God and given assignments. And, I plan on seeing them through because my name is also on Death’s List.  

The word of God says to me: “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.  “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.

Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”  Then the hand of the LORD was upon me there, and He said to me, “Arise, go out into the plain, and there I shall talk with you.” 

So I arose and went out into the plain, and behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, like the glory which I saw by the River Chebar; and I fell on my face.

Most people do not have a problem dying, their biggest fear is where they are going after they die.  I do not fear death because I know where I am going when that time comes. The word of God says, blessed are those who die in the Lord. If you are in Christ what do you have to fear?   

Never-the-less, I have a word from God for The Church and, the word is called “The Death List.” Where is your name on Death’s List? There are Angels created by God called “Death Angels.” You cannot see Death because Death is a spirit.

These Angels were given a list by God, and on their list is your name. Where is your name on Death’s List? The bible says, it is appointed to man once to die then the judgment. What this means is that one day Death will pay you a visit. And, one day you will come before the Lord and the books will be opened.

All your deeds both good and bad will be read before the Lord. And God will judge you according to your works. You will be sent to everlasting glory or everlasting hell and damnation.  

Then I saw a great white throne and the One who was seated upon it from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead who were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.             

                                                 Revelation 20:11-15

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

There is nothing in-between, it will be either hell or eternal life. So I will ask this question again my Sisters and Brothers! Where is your name on Death’s List? How you die will determine  how you will appear before the Lord. If you die a sinner, a sinner is how you will come before the Lord and the books will be opened.  

And the word of God says, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy till: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward s with me, to give very man according as his word shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and last          

                                                   Revelation 22:11-13 

And the Word of God goes on to say, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.                      

                                                 Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14 

You will not have time to get it right once Death pays you a visit. Will Death come for you tomorrow my Sisters and Brothers? Or maybe a year from now? Whenever it is will you be ready to go back with the Lord?  

Death was given his title and assignment in the garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating from the tree that God told them specifically not to eat from. Every since that day men have been dying a physical death.  

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

                                                         Genesis 3:19 

I do not care how fine, beautiful, handsome or intelligent you think you are, your name is on Death’s List. I do not care what nationality, greed or color you are, your name is on Death’s List. Death does not care how rich or poor you are. Neither, does Death care about your age or gender. Death has a list, and in his appointed time he will pay you a visit.

Where is your name on Death’s List?  Let me say this and make myself clearly understood this day! The bible clearly states in Genesis 3: 19 that it is appointed to men to die.  In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. 

You have people today who have lost faith in God because God allows children to die. Bad things happen to good people ever day. The bible never said that babies, children, young people or good people were exempt from dying……Period! And let’s not get it twisted. 

The bible never said, "When" or "How" nor did the bible tell us "Why"! All the bible says, is that we came from the dust and we will return to dust.

All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all return to dust again.

                                                   Ecclesiastes 3:20 

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.                                 

                                                   Ecclesiastes 12:7-8

Death does not discriminate, neither does it sympathize.  Death isn’t racist, neither does it have compassion. You cannot bargain with it, neither does it takes bribes. Where is your name on Death’s List?

The bible says, that no man knows the time or season! Life and Death is seasonal. There is a time and season for everything. A time to live and a time to die. 

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;  

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;  A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.  

                                                  Ecclesiastes 3: 8 

You see, The Body of Christ has it twisted and I am the one to make it straight! Christians have been lead to believe that one day Christ is going to come back for “His Church” and all Christians are going to go up in the sky together.  

The bible does talk about the rapture but, “EVERY DAY” my Sisters and Brothers God come back for His Church…..period! And do not get it twisted! Each and every day someone dies in the Lord! Christ comes back for His Church every day!  

Saints die just like sinners. Saved people get cancer just like the unsaved. Saved people get killed in car accidents just like the unsaved. Saved people's children die just like the unsaved. The only difference is that the Word of God says, “Blessed are those who died in the Lord!" 

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

I have worked in the medical field for 25 years, and I have gotten acquainted with Death. One of my positions at that time was called a Hospice Technician. I monitored Death. I was called into the homes of patients who chose to die in the comfort of their own homes.  

While they lay dying, I watch over them and care for them. I made sure they were comfortable and held their hands. I saw the spirit of Death come upon them and, I witness the spirit of life leave their bodies.  Death is an extraordinary spirit and astounding to observe.

There are stories I can share with you concerning what I have witnessed, but there is one case that I would never forget. I was called into a home of a female patient who was dying. Her family and I were gathered around her bedside.

The sky was bright and the sun was shining. But, the atmosphere was gloomy and gray. Most people when they are dying, they die with their mouths opened and, I never understood why until this day. As I observed my patient, I watched as she took her last breath.

When she took her last breath, I saw a dark shadow come from her mouth and go into the sky. As soon as this happened there was lightninng and thunder in the clear sky above. Those of us near her bedside glanced at each other in fear. 

And the lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

                                                     Genesis 2:7 

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

                                                     Ecclesiastes 12:7-8 

The same way God breathes life into man, is the same way God takes it back from man. The bible states clearly, it is appointed to man once to die then the Judgment. So I ask this question again my Sisters and Brothers, where is your name on Death’s List?  

If Jesus Christ had to die in the flesh, what do you think about you? That same person who created Death, had an appointment with Death while He was in the flesh; Christ name was on Death’s List. The same authority that God gave Death to take you and me, He gave the same Authority to Death to take His Son Jesus! 

                                                     The Word Became Flesh

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. 

There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. 

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John testifies concerning him. He cries out, saying, "This was he of whom I said, He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.' " From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.  

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known. 

When “The Word” was made flesh, it was appointed to Him once to die. Never-the-less, the only authority that Death has is the authority that God allows him to have. Jesus made this clear to Pilate before He was crucified in the flesh.  

So Pilate said to Him, "You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?" Jesus answered, "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin."

Jesus wanted Pilate to know that Life and Death was not in his hands but in the hands of His Father. 

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Once God made Himself a body and called Himself the Son, His name was placed on Death’s List. Jesus cried and said, “Let this cup past” but His name was on Death’s List. Jesus understands our situation because, when it came time for him to die, it grieved him.

Then He said to them, My soul is very sad and deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and keep awake and keep watch with Me. And going a little farther, He threw Himself upon the ground on His face and prayed saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will [not what I desire], but as You will and desire.  

And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and He said to Peter, What! Are you so utterly unable to stay awake and keep watch with Me for one hour? All of you must keep awake (give strict attention, be cautious and active) and watch and pray, that you may not come into temptation.

The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.  Again a second time He went away and prayed, My Father, if this cannot pass by unless I drink it, Your will be done. And again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were weighed down with sleep.  So, leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time, using the same words.

Then He returned to the disciples and said to them, Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of especially wicked sinners [whose way or nature it is to act in opposition to God].

Jesus could have cast out Death on the cross but, He humbled Himself and said, “It is finished!” And gave up the Ghost! 

Then Jesus said to him, Put your sword back into its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you suppose that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will immediately provide Me with more than twelve legions [more than 80,000] of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must come about this way?                                                                                                                    

                                        Matthew 26:52-54 (Amplified Bible) 

My! My! My! Then He rose on the third day! Death could no longer hold Him, for He had to return from whence He came.  

Did you know that Death’s name is on his own list? This same spirit that takes the lives of many will one day be destroyed. The same God who gave Death his assignment, will take his assignment away. Death’s name my Sisters and Brothers is on Death’s List. 

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

                                                         Revelation 21:4 

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

                                                           Revelation 20:14 

Now that we know we have an appointed time to die, the question is when? No man knows the time or hour of his last day here on earth. The bible says, "There is a Time to Live and a Time to Die" meaning it is not always a time to die.

Many Doctors have told patients they were going to die but they lived. This is why it is imperative to have a relationship with God and know how to listen to His voice.  The bible says, all sicknesses are not unto death. Jesus proved this by casting out all sicknesses and death when He was here in the flesh.

Just because your Doctor gave you six months to live, doesn’t mean you have to die in six months.  Just because all your relatives died with heart diseases at age thirty, doesn’t mean you have to die with a heart disease at age thirty.

Just because all the women in your family have breast cancer, doesn’t mean you will die with breast cancer. Many people recover from cancer, they are called cancer survivors.  Sometimes dying is a choice. Many people die because they chose to die; it has nothing to do with their appointment with death.

Some people die because they give up! You have people who commit suicide in all kind of ways. They kill themselves before time by over eating. Some kill themselves by smoking, drugs and alcohol. Some people own rage kill them before time. 

Not knowing how to release stress and the cares of life can cause premature heart attack, strokes and hypertension. Unprotected sex can cause you to die before your time. A lack of knowledge can kill you! The bible says, “They were destroyed because they lack knowledge.” What you don’t know will kill you!  

Your attitude plays a very important part whether you live or die.  No one knows where their name is on Death’s List. The bible talks about dying before our time. Death can come sooner or later then he suppose to. It is according to the time and season, and the bible says that no man knows the time or the season!

Let’s ask Hezekiah: 

In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.  

Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying, I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.  

And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying, Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.  

And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

It could have been Hezekiah’s time to die but it wasn’t his season to die. Hezekiah had an appointment to die but, he wasn’t ready to die. Hezekiah put up some resistance to death, he cried out to the Lord and God spoke to Death. God added fifteen years to Hezekiah’s life and He will also add more time to yours. 

Let’s talk with Job: 

And the LORD said to Satan, “Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.” So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes. 

Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die! But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Like Job’s wife, people get impatient with God because He takes His time doing things.  I often hear people say, “He may not come when you want but He is always on time.”

And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. 

Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold. Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also had seven sons and three daughters. 

And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch. In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers. 

After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations.  So Job died, old and full of days.

It is not about the Doctors! It is not about the medication you are on! It is not about tithes and offerings! It is not about being a Baptizes or Catholic! It is not about religion…. period!

It is about your relationship with Christ! Where is your name my Sisters and Brothers on Death’s List! Lazarus died but it was not his time or season! God had a plan.

God organized the whole thing, it was not meant for Lazarus to die but sleep so that Jesus could miraculous awaken him in front of the people, it was a set up from the beginning.  

Let's talk to Lazarus:

When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, and said, Where have ye laid him? They say unto him, Lord, come and see.  Jesus wept. 

The Jews therefore said, Behold how he loved him! But some of them said, Could not this man, who opened the eyes of him that was blind, have caused that this man also should not die? Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it.   

Jesus saith, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time the body decayeth; for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou believedst, thou shouldest see the glory of God?  So they took away the stone.

And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou heardest me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the multitude that standeth around I said it, that they may believe that thou didst send me.   And when he had thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 

He that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave-clothes; and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.  

Jesus told death to lose him and let him go! Jesus was showing the authority He has over death. Jesus wants us to know today that He has death and life in His hand. If you want to live then live, and have life more abundantly!

I was told to live everyday as if it was my last because my name is on Death’s List! You can accumulate all the wealth you want while you are living but, you can’t take it with you! You can be the wises and smartest man or woman ever lived but, once you die the buck stops there! Your education means nothing once you are dead.

You may think that you are all of that and a bag of chips but, death has your number and, you will be receiving a call one day. Where is your name on Death’s List? Maybe it wasn’t Job, Hezekiah or Lazarus time to die during that time and season. But, their name was placed back on Death’s List because, the bible says, "Flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

The body you have at this time, will never make it to heaven, it has to change! Therefore, you must die a physical death to be with the Lord. 

The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted.

Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.    Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all?

Why then are they baptized for the dead? And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour?  I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.  If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me?

If the dead do not rise, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”  Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.     

But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?” Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies.  And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain.

But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.  All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 

There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.  It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory.

It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.  And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.”

The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.  As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly.

And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is witten:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.                                

                             1 Corinthians 15:26-58 (New King James Version) 

Where is your name on Death’s List? What will you be doing? How will death caught you? Do you have animosity in your heart? Who haven’t you forgiven? Are you a liar or a thief? Are you cheating on your wife or husband?  What is being written in your book? What will be your answer to God, when you stand before Him and the books are opened? 

And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.  He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”     

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” 

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that  they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
