Now about the collection for God’s people: Do what I told the Galatian Churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to to Jerusalem. If it seems available for me to go also they will accompany me.

                                          1 Corinthians (16:1) NIV 

This is how the Apostle Paul tells the churches to give. He never once told the Church to pay tithes. What they gave was a gift not Tithes and Offerings. A gift is given freely, the Apostle Paul said, set aside a sum of money in keeping with Your incomes.  

If you do not have any income how can you give? There are thirteen letters that the Apostle Paul wrote to the churches. Not one time in any of these thirteen letters did Paul tell the churches to tithe? There are four books of the gospel written by four different people. Not once did any of these four people said Jesus tithe or ask for tithes from anyone. 

The Lord says, He loves a cheerfully giver. If you are not happy when you give but cast down and scared that your lights might be cut off because you gave ten percent, then you are not a cheerful giver and God is not happy because you are not happy.  

God said in His word, that He would not put more on us then we can bear. I'll say it again, Your Pastors has placed the burden of tithing on you not Christ. If Christ never told His followers to give Him a tenth of their income when He was here in the flesh, why would He tell you to give a tenth of your income to your Pastors while He is not here in the flesh? Christ never took a tenth neither should your Pastors. Something is wrong with this picture and it has nothing to do with Christ! 

Tithing is a tradition that arrived from the Law of Moses or before and Pastors has adopted this tradition because it has something to do with money........Period! I was told there was over 613 laws in the old testament, why don’t the Pastors keep all 613 laws? Why do they only enforce the Laws that deal with money?  

We are no longer under the curse of the Law therefore this tradition should no longer be practice in the New Testament Churches. God wants tithing out of His Church..........Period! Why? Because there are too many Believers crying out to God about the burdens that are been placed on them by their Spiritual Leaders and Pastors.  

When the children of Israel cried out to God, God reacted to their cry and sent them Moses. God is sensitive to His people's cries, worries and concerns. I may not be Moses the Prophet But, I am Prophetess T.Roberts. Called by God to set His people Free! God told me to tell you Pastors to Back off!! And I say this without Fear! God wants tithing O.U.T of His churches! And if you have a problem with what I am saying take me to the Lord in prayer! 

Pastors! You are asking your Members for too much Money and the Holy Spirit told me to tell you to......... BACK OFF! The Holy Spirit says, Your buildings may have your name on it but, the people inside the buildings have His name on them. God says this is His Church! And do not get it twisted! Whenever the Children of Israel cried out to God, God always make a way for them to be set free and delivered. God always sent them a Deliver.  

I have been called by God to set His church Free! I will say this again, God wants tithing O.U.T of His Church........Period! And I will say it again; if you have a problem with what I am saying take me to the Lord in Prayer! I have confidence in what I am saying because I know who told me to say what I am saying. God wants tithing O.U.T of His Church! 

Let me say this, If you are a church goers and you are reading this  word, tell your Pastors for me that I (Prophetess Roberts) am coming out! Tell them Prophetess Roberts will not be on her website for long. Tell them I will be on national television soon and when I come out, I will be bringing a CHANGE with me. There will be a Change in the Body of Christ and I have a word of God for them! The word is "WOE TO THE PASTORS AND SPIRITUAL LEADERS WHO FEED THE FLOCK OF GOD!" Pastors! I am coming out!!Just a matter of time! 

Greed is taking over the minds and hearts of our Pastors today. They do not seem to know when enough is enough! They never seem to have enough! Most of them sees their members as dollar bills and has forgotten they have souls to be saved.  

Most Pastors today uses mind games with their members by telling them what They are doing is God's work but, they seem to forget that their members have a work to do for Christ also. First of all, God is a fair God; God would never give anyone a Work to do for Him that would cause an unbalance situation inside His churches.  

If there is an unbalance situation inside the churches where the Pastors are the only ones prospering and the rest of God's Body is crying out to God about their finances then there is confusion. God is not the author of this confusion because Jesus never told anyone to pay tithes in the first place. If God is not the author of this confusion, then it cannot be all God's work that Pastors are claiming they are doing for Christ.  

No one is mad but the devil! Remember I was not called to be your friend. Neither was I called to care about your feelings towards me. I was called by God to take His church to another level called Spiritual Maturity. And, if you are not grown enough to eat meat,  find yourself another website to occupy your time.  

Christ is not confused you are because you are the ones listening to too many voices. when you get to that level of Spiritual Maturity were I am trying to take you. You will no longer need two instructors because you would have learned how to listen to the voice of Christ and be lead by Him. You will no longer have to give someone ten percent of your salary every payday to keep telling you the same thing year after year. This is not and has never been the will of God for His Church. This is why I encourage The Body of Christ to study the word of God and spend quality time with Christ alone and allow Him to be your Spiritual Leader/Pastor.  

If I am offending some with my teachings that’s too bad.  If you got past my Introduction Page, that means you are ready to eat meat. God called me to take His Church to another level and His Church cannot get to this next level being unbalanced where the Pastors are the only ones prospering. It’s not God’s will for His people to be broke and cast down with financial burdens. And the Pastors are living in 1,2,3 million dollars homes, driving the most expensive cars, eating the best foods, owning boat and airplanes, the devil is a liar! 

For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snare; they set traps, they catch men. As a cage is full of birds, so are their house full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. They are waxen fat, they shine: yea they overpass the dead of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.  Jeremiah (5:26-28) 

Believers have been taught to believe that all prosperity comes from God this is not true. Anyone can prosper if you know what you are doing. Sinners prosper in business, dope dealers prosper. It’s all about how well you know your business. There are many Pastors who are in this just for the money! And If you, The Body of Christ cannot see this you are in D.e.n.i.a.l and you need to wake up and smell the roses! If you cannot see that starting a Church/Place of Worship is big business and easy money you are blind.   

The bible talks about these things happening during the end times. You had better wake up Church and smell the roses. Everyone who says Lord! Lord! Will not be entering into the kingdom of God. The bible tells us to try the spirits and see if they are of God. In other words, Compare the Ministry of Christ to your Pastor's ministry or anyone else’s ministry and see if it lines up with the Ministry/Teachings of Christ.  

Never-the-less, Pastors has a yoke around the neck of God’s people and they can’t seem to get up on their feet. I was called to break that yoke and set God’s people free!  Prophets come against the strongest holds in the Church and Tithing is a strong hold! But, I know who I am in Christ. And, if Christ be for me, it is more than those against me. When you know who has your back, you can talk your talk and, walk your walk.  

 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. For they are impudent children and stiff eared. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there is hath been a prophet among them. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou doest dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. But, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; be not rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.   Ezekiel (2:3-8) 

I refuse to go around trying to sugarcoat God's word to make people like me or to fit in with the crowed. The devil is a liar! I have confidence in what I say because, I know who told me to say what I am saying. God wants Tithing out of His Churches..... Period!  

My Sisters and Brothers the Law of the Beast is in motion even as I speak. I do not have time to Baby the Body of Christ; neither do I have time to worry about who does not like me. Those of you who will be here when the Law of the Beast has been fully enforced you will have to be sharp, informative and rich to survive. Not stupid, dumb and broke.

Do not be too routine; become flexible in your comings and goings. Your neighbors do not need to know that you come home every day at the same time. Neither do your neighbors need to know you have other properties in other places. Keep them wandering. You’re going to need large homes my Sisters and Brothers. Start investing in owning your own houses if you can.  Learn some home ownership skills. 

The reason why you’re going to need large homes because you can store adequate food and supplies for your families and friends. Because when the Law of the Beast is fully in effect Christians will not be able to buy food or supplies. You do not wait until the problem occurs you plan for what is to come. This is why there are Prophets still on earth today so we can tell you what's about to take place.  

Even before the Law of the Beast has fully come in effected there are going to be economy distresses like never before. The high price of gas is just a taste of what is ahead. Things are going to get worse! And Worse! Do you remember when the bible talks about earth quakes in different places? We had Katrina and the Tsunami, we  have the situation in haiti and this is nothing compared to what is about to take place because the bible has to be fulfilled.  

The people laughed at Noah as he build the boat on dry land because they never seen rain. But what happened? They took him for granted and the earth was washed away. This is what true Prophets are supposed to be doing prophesying preparing The Church for what is to come. But today’s Prophets most of them are too busy trying to be celebrities on time magazine.  

It seems as if the majority of those in Leadership are interested in one thing these days and that is money fame and glory. And it is sickening, before they could complete their sermon on television they have to take a commercial break and ask for money or promote their latest books, cd or videos.  

Moving on, In other words you are going to need money to survive and you can’t save money giving to people who is already rich. As they say the rich keeps getting richer and the poor keeps getting poorer. This is not the will of God for His Church. Why should the Pastors and their families be the only ones to survive during these hard times?  

His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, and loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarters.  Isaiah (56: 10-12) 

Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they lean upon the Lord and say, Is not the Lord among us? No disaster will come upon us”  Micah (3:11) NIV 

You always hear of Pastors building bigger churches and you never hear of them working with what they have. The larger the church the more funds will be needed to care for that property. Pastors never seem to have enough. why? What is up with that? What does a Pastor need with a 30,000 dollar custom made toilet set? Why would anyone in their right minds support Pastors like these? You cannot tell me that none of His members could have used any of that $30,000 dollars that he spent for his custom made toilet seat Hard as times are today! 

They say you are giving God your money when you give but the devil is a liar. How does God look? You say you are giving to God. What color is He? What is His nationality?  Since you say you are giving Him your tithes and offerings please let us know how He looks? Does He have hair or is He bold? Does He have green eyes or brown eyes? Is He fat or thin? Is He short or tall? I am speaking to those who give their money to the Lord.  

Some goes on to say they are helping to farther the Gospel. This is a lie also. The Body of Christ has been saying this since the day I was born or before. And the Gospel has not move any farther since I have been a Christian. And I have been a Christian for 48 years Please!! There are no countries in the world, that I know of, that does not know about Christ.

I received an e-mail from someone from Kenya who did not know about Christ until he find a bible. Once he read about salvation, he accepted Christ into his life. Now he is preaching and teaching salvation to everone who will listen. The gospel of Christ is being preached all over the world!

And Pastors have the audacity to own jet planes and airplanes.   Where are they going in such hurry? Did you know that 80% of Americans are Christians (claim to be anyway). Who are they saving? The same people over and over year after year. Give me a break! And the same people get happy every Sunday morning and their lives are still in shambles since the day they claimed they got saved. 

The farther the gospel is being preached is from one end of your church home to the other please!!  They say you are giving to farther the gospel and they cannot save the members they have in their own church home.  But they will go to another state and peach to someone else's congregation please. And what gets me is Christians get excited and bent out of shape because some Preacher with a big name comes into town as if they have the answers to their problems.  

That Pastor with that big name is no more effective than that little preacher in your own church home. There is but one God and, it is Not that Pastor with that big name. And do not get it twisted. Come on Church wake up and smell the roses! And these so called to be prestigious Pastors has the audacity to charge large sums of money to preach the Free Gospel of Christ at different church gatherings.   

The Body of Christ seems to have their gods twisted for time to time. There is absolutely no way in the world I would pay some imperfect individual with issues like Myself to come preach at My church home because he or she can articulate the word of God better than I can. The devil is a liar! Anit no one all of that and a bag of chips but Jesus the Christ. We are not to give more importance to man than we do God. These Pastors has some of your minds so twisted many of you cannot tell the truth form a lie.  

I told you my website is for mature Christians who can handle the truth. Christians feel because Pastors have big names they can pull the biggest blessing down from heaven and these Pastors have more favor with God. You do not have to go to a men or women's conference to hear from God or be set free and delivered don’t get it twisted. All you need is an effective prayer life and a personal relationship with Christ. 

If these Pastors really would like to help farther the gospel, why won’t they come together as a whole and, go to these few places where the gospel have not been preached if there are any? Come on somebody please! Most of these Pastors today are not interested in fathering the gospel. The only thing they are interested in is fathering their bank accounts. It's always money! Money! And more money! They never seem to have enough money! Who is being saved, set free, healed and delivered? It's all about money! 

I have a Ministry that I just started, if you want to sow a seed into my Ministry that’s your choice. But Know that God will not be getting any of the money that you give. All the money that is given to me will go towards the responsibly of this Ministry.  

I would love to give Jesus some money but I do not know His address to heaven. Neither do I know His phone number to call and get directions. I wish I could fax Him or send Him a text message or e-mail; but His line is private. 

How can I say that I am giving money to God? I will be lying and, if your Pastors are saying that he or she is giving your money to God he or she is lying also. It’s my corporation and my name is on the account not God’s. Maybe you know His account number; does He bank at Wachovia or Bank of America? Or maybe He just stores His money underneath His carpet in His bed room like our grandparents did back in the day. 

When you write out a check do you put God’s name on it? If it’s my business you will either put my name on your check or my business name on your check. If you put God’s name on the check the bank will look at you as if you had lost your mind. Grow up church! Grow up! Everything belongs to God anyway. When you give you are giving it to that person's ministry not God. You can’t give God anything because He is a Spirit. The word says: God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 

The Free Word Ministry is my ministry and my responsibility. God gave me a vision and I acted on it. Not only did He give me this vision, He has given me a vision for three other businesses. Because I write terrific children books I decided to start my own publishing company called “Wild Child Books and Publishing Company.” I have another business called “Tanjila’s Unique designs” because I am very creative. And I have my own home care service called “Angelic Homecare Services” because I have been in the medical field for over twenty-five years and I enjoy caring for the sick.  

Before I started my businesses I had a vision. Then I wrote it out on paper. Then I learned how to put the business together. They will all be on my website very soon. God gives each one of us a spiritual work/ministry to do for Him. My Ministry "The Free Word Ministry" is my Spiritual work/ministry that God has given me to do for Him. The reason why the Holy Spirit has given me this Ministry is because too many Pastors are over charging for the free word of God that has been freely given to us.  

My call as a Prophet is to cry out against these Pastors who are using and abusing the word of God for their own personal gain. Just because God has given me a work/ministry to do for Him doesn't mean He wants me to use and abuse the Body of Christ to accommodate my own needs. Neither would He give someone a work to do for Him that would cause His Body (The Body of Christ) to become financial unbalanced. 

The reason why I am sharing this with you all is because you all give too much important to these ministries/ business that anyone can start. For $199.00 dollars you can start any business you want. You can get an EIN number free on line. It’s is a number that shows you are a business. All you need is a name and in five minutes you are a business. For less than $300.00 dollars you can become incorporated. For less than $1,500 dollars you can become a nonprofit corporation. 

Anyone can start a Church.  All you need is a vision and a name. Just because someone starts a Church doesn’t mean you have to put their business before your own needs or the needs of your family. This is crazy and does not make any sense to me. Neither does it make any sense to me for intelligent people with good sense to keep giving someone their money every payday year after year. What is up with that? Christ never told anyone to do this.   

Never-the-less, Pastors should not be the only ones prospering inside the house of God. It is not the Apostles’ doctrine but greed.  

The Apostle doctrine is this: Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.  1 Corinthians (16:1-2) 

The Apostles never told anyone to tithe every payday. The Apostle Paul instructed them to give according to their ability. This is the will of God and the Apostle’s doctrine for God’s people. If everyone gave according to his or her ability no one will go lacking. 

Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determent to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judea; which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barabbas and sail.  Acts (10: 29) 

The Bible talks about equality in the churches. The Apostle doctrine is base on balance inside the church. No one should be receiving more than the other. Pastors should not be the only ones prospering while his or her members’ needs are not being met this is wrong. And it is not the will of God for His church. 

For if the [eager] readiness to give is there, then it is acceptable and welcomed in proportion to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. For it is not [intended] that other people eased and relieved [of their responsibility] and you be burdened and suffer [unfairly], But to have equality {share and share alike]’ your surplus over necessity at the present time going to meet their want and to equalize the difference created by it, do that [at some other time] their surplus in turn may be given to supply your want. Thus there may be equality, As it is written, He who gather much has nothing over, and he who gathered little did not lack.  2 Corinthians (8:14) Amplified bible 

There was always a form of balance in the churches which is only fair. Even doing the Mosaic Law there was balance.  

Moses said to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat. This is what the Lord has COMMANDED! Each one is to gather as much as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent. The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. And when they measure it by the omer, he who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have  too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little. Each one gather as much as needed.  Exodus (16:18) 

God is not a God of unfairness, He sees the needs of His people and he also sees the Pastor’s greed and unconcern about their member’s lack. It’s has always been about the Pastors and their needs and what they asks for to make his or her business work. But the Apostles always thought of the people needs first. They never told them to Tithe but to give as God has blessed them.  

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (As it is written, He hath dispersed aboard; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remained forever.  2 Corinthians (9:6-9) 

The Word of God says, God loves a cheerful giver. If you are not cheerful when you give then it is best that you do not give. If giving makes you cast down and nervous because your rent is due and you need that ten percent to make ends meet, then you might as well pay your rent. If God bless you with enough money to pay your bills then pay your bills.  

Pastors have preached so much fear in their members that their members have become scared to put themselves and their families first. They feel guilty if they do not give to their Pastor's ministry first. First of all, God does not give us the spirit of fear! If you are afraid to put your needs before someone else's needs you got issues that have nothing to do with Christ. Christ never told you to give Him a tenth of your income in the first place your Pastor did. 

The reason why you feel convicted when you put your family first is because, you have set under someone's ministry for too long and you have been brainwashed by listening to the same  things year after year. Now you are confused and don't know who voice to listen to and it makes you nervous.  

I find it stupid, that God would bless a person with enough money to pay their rent then they take out ten percent of their rent money God blessed them with and give it to someone who is already rich, and prospering, and have more than enough. Now that person who gave ten percent has to go borrow that ten percent back from someone else to pay their rent that God had already blessed them with. Stupid is all I have to say just plain stupid.  

What makes it even more stupid is the fact that they are giving a tenth of their rent money that they cannot afford to give; to help a business/ministry pay their rent or mortgage. Does that make sense? What is going to happen when you are late on your own rent or if you get kick out of your place? Will this ministry that you are supporting with your Tithes and offerings find you a place to live? I do not think so and if they do it will not be for long.   

My advice my Sisters and Brothers is to pay your bills first then if you choose to give to someone's ministry then Amen! Amen! The Word of God says "A man who doesn’t take care of his own household is worse than an unbeliever." The Word of God never said you had to put another man's house or business before your own household or business.  

You and your own household come first. If a person cannot take care of his or her own business then they do not need a business in the first place or may be just maybe they need to get a J.O.B. The Word of God says, "Be men in business!" 

Let me give you some wisdom in business. If your Pastor says he or she is giving a tenth of his or her income to the church and, he or she is the owners of the church building/business, do not be impressed because, they will get that money back at the end of the year as a write off.  

Not only that, if it is their business the money they are giving goes back in his or her account because it is their business. They are not losing anything by giving to their own businesses. They are not losing but you are, you are the ones who cannot seem to get ahead. You are the ones who cannot make ends meet. You are the ones who are crying out to God for help with your bills and finances. You are crying out to God and God is crying out to me to help you. You had better wake up and smell the roses, this is 2010. Wake up Church wake up! There need to be balance inside the churches. 

As long as God gives me breath I am going to cry out against those Pastors who are using and abusing the Word of God for their personal gain. Pastors forget that God is still alive and that the CHURCH belongs to Him. Titles do not impress God for He holds the highest.  

Pastors forget that there are still bold and out spoken Prophets like myself who fear no man or woman but fears God, and is willing to speak the words that He places in our mouths.  No one is scared but the devil! I told you, I do not fear Satan, Satan fears me! I was taught by the Holy Spirit that greater is He that is in me, then he that is in the world.  

Never-the-less, Tithes were taken once every three year and so on but, never every payday. Once Jesus died on the cross the curse of the law died with Him. Tithes should not be taken in the house of God under the New Covenant. Pastors should think of other solutions then to use and abuse God’s people and His word for their own personal greed and gain. 

Pastors love to quote this scripture “Bring all you’re tithing in my storehouse so there will be meat in my house.” The storehouse was not set up just for the Priests, but for the people that had needs as well. Plus, today we have Pastors and few Priests so the principle does not apply to Pastors because they have a heritage among those who are sanctified.  But, the Priests back in the day did not.  

When thou hast made an end of tithing increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled.  (Deuteronomy (26:12) 

At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: And the Levites, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.   Deuteronomy (14:28-29) 

Please tell me where does it say tithes are to be given to Pastors? Pastors are not worthy to take tithes. And please read who tithes are to be given to and not taken from? Today’s Pastor takes tithe from the poor! They take tithe from the widows! Those on low income! They take from the fatherless because the majority of the members who goes to church are single women. And most of them do not get child support.   

With that said, most churches are taking food out the months of children and clothes off their backs. And think about all the old people on fix income who pay tithes because they believe in the tithe myth.  

As far as First Fruits are concerned, some Pastors ask their members to sacrifice their whole paychecks. First Fruits, my Sisters and Brothers were taking once a year during harvest time during the fall.  

There were women who supported Jesus ministry, did He ask for a tenth from them? Did the Apostles tell the disciple to pay their Tithes because Jesus has bills? 

Hello! Have you ever read where the Apostles took a tenth from any one? Did Jesus or the Apostles tell you to give a tenth of your salary to the church? No, why? Because it is not the will of God for the New Testament Church. Tithing was not important to Jesus or the Apostles. They did not feel it was important enough to elaborate on. If they felt it was important they would have left it on record.  

If it was the will of God Jesus would have said so when he was here on earth or it would be written in red. I have found that most Christians do not follow what’s written in red in the bible. They prefer to follow man. This is why believers are struggling with their finances and cannot seem to make ends meet nor save for a rainy day. 

Curse is the one who trust in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. But blessed is the man that trust in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.  Jeremiah (17:5-8) 

There is a scripture where Jesus was talking to the Pharisees that many Pastors like to quote to their members so they will tithe. But Pastors are guilty of the same things as the Pharisees because they pick and chose parts of the law that benefit themselves and leave the other parts undone. 

Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matter of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the others undone.  Matthew 23:23 

You see they quote half this scripture and not the rest. Jesus was talking to those who lived strictly by the Law. He was calling them hypocrites because they were doing the part of the law they felt was important and not doing the rest. Jesus was not telling us to tithe don’t get it twisted. He wasn’t talking to us because we are no longer under the curse of the law; Jesus was talking to the Pharisees. If Jesus was telling us to tithe He would have been the first to take tithe from His followers.  

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy loads and put them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.  Matthew (23: 1-5) 

These are other scriptures that most Pastors love to quote to their members and one is the story about Melchizedek and Abraham. First, what Abraham did was called a self will offering. Melchizedek never told him to tithe. Second, if you read the entire story Melchizedek told Abraham to give him the persons and take the goods for Himself. Melchizedek was not interested in his tithes just like Jesus was not interested in tithes when he was on earth. Ain't no one mad but the devil!  

And another thing Melchizedeck was only mentioned once in the Old Testament, the bible says he had no mother or father. Jesus said He have no place to lay his head. These men were not interested in money. And the same thing with Abel, God never told Abel to give Him an offering it was a self will offering.   

The reason why most Christians who tithe is always broke and living payday to payday is because they give payday to payday. There is a time when you need to take a break from giving and save or invest. God never told you to do this and if He did that’s between you and Him. If tithing is working for you it is not working for the vast majority of God’s Body and he wants tithing out of his church!! 

One reason why the Body of Christ can’t seem to move forward in their finances is because Pastors are holding on to beliefs that are curses to his or her congregations. Anything that is a curse will not work! 

And the word of God says: He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men. You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them; you have a find way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!   Mark (7: -9) 

Tithing is a tradition; you cannot have the grace of God and the law at the same time. Either you are going to have God’s grace and let go of the law or you are going to hold on to the law and let go of grace and mercy. Pastors! If you are going to let go of the law then let go of all the law.......Period! These Pastors who are holding on to tithing is like the Pharisees that Jesus rebuke for doing some of the law but left the other parts of the law undone Jesus called them Hypocrites! It’s in the word. Matthews 23:23 

If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace ( from God’s gracious favor and unmerited blessing). Galatians (5:4) 

Jesus did not put the burden of tithing on His people man did and, it has been a curse every since. This is why Jesus got rid of the old and brought in something New! 

The word of God says: Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and over burdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls] Take My yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good -not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.  Matthews (11:28-30) Amplified bible 

God would never put more on us then we can bear. If it seems hard and unbearable it is because it is not the will of God for your lives. For this is the Love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.  1 John (5:3) 

Jesus commanded His Apostles to go preach the word everywhere. And as they preached He told them what to do. He told them to preach, heal, cast out devils, raise the dead and freely give. Jesus never told them as they went out to preach to take tithe, offering, building funds and all those other things that cause believers to go lacking in their own homes. It is not the will of God and never has been. 

Jesus sent out these twelve, charging them, Go nowhere among the Gentiles and do not go into any town of the Samaritans; But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of heaven is at hand! Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leaper, and drive out demons. Freely (without pay) you have received, freely give (without charge) give. Take no gold nor silver nor [even] copper money in your purses (belt); And do not take a provision bag or a wallet for a collection bag for your journey, nor two undergarments, nor sandals nor a stall; for the workman deserves his support ( his living, his food). And unto whatever town or village you go, inquire who in it is deserving, and stay there [at his house] until you leave [that vicinity].  Matthews (10:5-11) 

This is what Jesus ordered His Apostles to do. This is the true Apostle Doctrine. Many Pastors tell you they are following the Apostles Doctrine but they are not. They are following their own self-righteous, greed and made up dogmas.  

The Word of God should be freely given, but the Pastors charge a tenth and other money for their services. On top of the tenth that they ask for, for delivering the Free Word of God, you must pay for their books, cds, and tapes and so on.  

Your Pastors are selling The Word and you are buying The Word. You are a Spiritual Consumer and he or she is a business man or business woman. Jesus never told the Apostles to sell the Word of God when He commanded them to preach.  

As you see in these scriptures, Jesus told the Apostles they were worthy of their pay, meaning food and shelter. Not million dollar homes, expensive cars, boats and airplanes and all these unnecessary materialist items that have nothing to do with bringing people to Christ or caring for the needs of God’s people.  

He said, freely you have received freely give. This is why God gave me “The Free Word Ministry” He doesn’t want me to charge His people for His word. Any spiritual book that I have written or will write will be free of charge. God have given me so many talents that I do not need to exploit the Body of Christ to make ends meet. I make more than enough money to accommodate my needs working a full time job.  

I do not care whose toes I step on. If the shoe fit wear it! If you do not know me you will get to know me because I am planning on being around for a very, very long time Preaching and Teaching on these same subjects. The main one is Tithing in the House of God.  

Never-the- less, Yet we know that a man justified or reckoned righteousness and in good standing with God not by works of the law, but [only] through faith and [absolute] reliance on and adherence to and trust in Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). [Therefore] even we [ourselves] have believed on Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law [for we cannot be justified by any observance of the ritual of the law given by Moses], because by keeping legal rituals and by works no human being can ever be justified (declared righteous and put in right standing with God). Galatians (3:16) 

Pastors need your tithes so they hold on to these traditions and customs of the law that profit them. The only traditions most Pastors hold on to are those traditions that has to do with Money. There were many laws written by Moses but Pastors only focus on certain ones that will benefit themselves and their ministries. Do your own homework and you will see what I am talking about and the truth will set you free from the curse of the law.  

Let me say this and make myself clearly understood. A curse is a negative force that keeps repeating itself until it is broken. I have been called by God to break the Curse of Tithing by crying out against it in the houses of God! God wants tithing out of His Churches! This curse will continue to be a burden to God's Body if this curse that Pastors are holding on to is not broken. It will continue and there will always be an unbalanced situation inside the churches where Pastors are the only ones prospering. 

For as many as are of works of the law are under the CURSE: for it is written, CURSE IS EVERYONE THAT COUNTINUETH NOT IN ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW TO DO THEM. But no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. And the law is not faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. CHRIST hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  Galatians (3:11-13) Amplified Bible 

I will say this again, Jesus never told anyone to take a tenth from anyone. He died so  the Body of Christ would be set free from the curse of the law.  Jesus started His ministry at a time when the law of Moses was being enforced. It wasn’t until He died on the cross that the curse of the law was done away with.  

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of the spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.  Romans (7:6) 

This is one reason why the majority of the body of Christ is struggling with their finances and the other reason is because they do not know how to budget or invest their money. 

We as Christians live by our own faith not by the faith of those around us. The Word says: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. We know in our hearts what we can give and what we can’t give at any given time and God does no judge us. 

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burden again by a YOKE OF SLAVERY.  Galatians (5:1) NIV Bible 

You see, I sow seeds, I believe you must give to receive. Whenever I visit a church assembly I never leave that service without sowing into that ministry. But giving someone a tenth of my paycheck every payday, I do not think so!   

When you start a business it’s up to you to make it work. If all your members left you, you are the one with that rent or mortgage at the end. Church goers are fickle they can be with you today and gone to another church tomorrow.    

Why isn't your ministry God’s responsibility? Because God is blameless. If something goes wrong and your ministry falls apart like many ministries do you can’t blame it on God. God keeps Himself free from charge. The word of God tells us to be men in business. Before you start any business you should know what you are doing.  

One reason why we have Mega churches is because these men and women are good in business.  They know how to sell their products; their products are the Free Words of God am I lying? They sell their books, Cds, tapes, videos, trips, cruises, and on top of it all they get a tenth of their members’ salaries every payday plus offerings. If their church is nonprofit they get grants, free money from the government they do not have to pay back. Then they have the nerves to have an ATM machine in the house they call God’s house as if God is desperate for money.  

And he found in the temple those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. And he made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the coins of the money changers and over turned their tables; and to those who were selling the doves He said, “ take these things away; stop making My Father house a place of business. John (2:14:16) Amplified bible 

This is what’s going on in the house of God today. They sold animals back in the day but today they sell everything else. Those of us who buy their products are called Spiritual Consumers. They have it going on today, this is why they have nice big houses, boats, nice cars and airplanes. Tell me, does it take all these materialist things to bring people to Christ? I do not think so. God wants us all to have nice things not only the Pastors. It bothers me how easily believers can be manipulated into giving to a Ministry where the Pastors has everything and they have nothing. 

But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who brought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they made up. There condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.   2 Peter (2-3) NIV 

Never-the-less, you should not go into ministry thinking about all the tithes and offering you will get. If you go into business thinking you will survive off your members tithing system you are setting yourself up for a fall. Tithing did not work for those back in the day and it will not work today.  

If Pastors were honest they will tell you that the majority of their congregation do not tithe like they suppose to or do not tithe at all. Common sense should tell Pastors if tithing isn't working they should try something different instead of using mind games to manipulate their members into paying or trying to scare them into giving, the devil is a liar! You can do what you think you have do but, like I said, tithing did not work then and, it will never work now.  

Personally, I do not understand how church goers survive giving every payday. If a husband, wife and children all belong to the same ministry, and the husband gives a tenth and the wife gives a tenth and the children gives a tenth of their allowance, I wander how they make ends meet?  

They must not have a mortgage and if they do, they must not have to pay homeowners insurance or taxes on the houses. What about the high price of gas and meat. I guess they do not have a car payment and insurance. What about the up keep on the cars and houses?  I guess church goers do not have life insurance or health insurance.  

When was the last time a believer had work done on their teeth? I guess church goers do not have utility bills and phone bills. I assume church goers don’t have children in college or day care. I guess believers do not need clothes and shoes from time to time. Maybe it’s just me but, how can a family with these expenses afford to give every payday and save for a rainy day?  

Going to church is a luxury that many Christians cannot afford. And another thing, the majority of church goers are women who are single moms. The number of single moms outweighs the married couples by dozens. How do these single moms make it? I do not think most Pastors think about this. 

I heard another Pastor tell his congregation that he pays the most tithes inside the church. Well he probable makes the most money in the church was my thought. I heard another Pastor tell his congregation that they are cursed with a cursed if they did not pay their tithes. First, you cannot curse that which God has not curse neither can you bless that which God has not blessed.   

Second, we are under the dispensation of God’s grace and mercy. How and why would you curse someone because they choose not to help support your ministry at that time? Get a job and take care of your own ministry. Third, did you ever think to ask those members who you are cursing why they can’t afford to pay their tithes? Just may be they didn’t have enough money that payday to pay their rent. 

And Jesus called unto his disciples, and saith unto them, verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.  Mark (12: 44) 

I have not paid tithe in over fifteen years and I still have favor with God and man. I think of myself blessed of God and not cursed. I want for nothing. My refrigerator and cabinets runs over with food constantly. My bills are paid.  My children are healthy and doing just fine. I am not sickly nor am I cast down. Whatever I ask the Lord for I get it by faith. I have a nice place and drive a nice vehicle. I can walk inside any store and buy whatever I want with cash. How? I have a full time job that I love, and I work over time. I do not ask anyone for help when it comes to my ministry. 

I live a very peaceful, quiet and productive life with very few disturbances. I am in the process of buying a new home. If God be with me it is more than those against me. I am more than a Conqueror in Christ Jesus my Savior. It is not about tithing but sowing seeds (Giving).  It is about walking in your season and your relationship with Christ. 

There are many believers who do not tithe and is doing quite well. There are many Christian church organizations that do not take a tenth from their members and doing quite well. These church groups have found other ways to keep their businesses running without the burden of tithing. Tithing should be a choice, not a command because, Jesus never told us to tithe. 

I do not tithe neither have the Lord place me under anyone’s ministry over fifteen years. Everything that you are reading has been written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. I have never attended a bible or theology school, but was taught one on one by Jesus as I studied to show myself approved. I will not lie but tell the truth. It has not been easy, Jesus can be a hard teacher and I could be a stubborn student. Never- the- less, we love each other and get along quite well.
