THE FREE WORD MINISTRY Introduction Part One
Holy greeting in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He who is, He who was, and He who is to come.
I have found it necessary to Introduce Myself and share the reason for my Ministry "The Free Word Ministry" and the reason for my Website. My Ministry is about Spiritual Growth and Development. Accountability (being responsible for one’s self to God) and Spiritual Maturity in Christ Jesus our Savior! My Ministry is about bringing Christians from the Infancy state of thinking, to an Adulthood state of reality and independence (total reliance) on God and His word.
You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong.
Hebrews 5:12-14 (New Living Translation)
I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. Revelation 20:12-13 (New Living Translation)
For the Scriptures says,“ As surely as I live says the Lord, every Knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God.” Yes, each of us will give a Personal Account to God.
Romans 14:11-12 (New Living Translation)
The purpose for the Five Fold Ministry (Pastors, Apostles, Prophets, Teachers and Evangelists) is to prepare the Body of Christ for Services, by equipping them for Ministry. And, bringing them to a level of Maturity in Christ Jesus so they can stand on their own abilities according to their individual faith in Christ Jesus!
And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people),
[that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church, [that it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood ( the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.
Ephesians 4:11-13
I truly feel when the Five Fold Ministries grow up (Mature) The Body of Christ will Mature. Once the Body of Christ grows up (Mature) then we can all go up! Even though the Five Fold Ministries are to work as a team we all have different functions in The Body of Christ.
I am not a Pastor and I do not possess the Pastoral gifts. I do not have the patience, or the time nor am I looking for members. I am not an Apostle, I do not have time to start churches. I am being honest and straight forward. I am not an Evangelist going from place to place preaching the word of God at this time, so please do not ask me to come preach at your church.
I am not a Psychic or a Fortune teller, so please do not ask me to give you a word from God. If you need a word from God, my advice is that you ask Him. Not me. Let me say this for the record. If God gives me a word to tell someone individually, you will not have to come to me (A Prophet). I will come to you, personally. Also, when God gives me a message for His Church, (The Body of Christ) the message will be on my website or where ever I am at that time.
I am not a pulpit preacher and I do not feel it is necessary to be in front of people to get my point through. I am a Teacher/Prophetess and I possess the Prophetic Anointing. I speak what is on the mind and heart of Christ. Whatever subjects the Holy Spirit moves on me to elaborate on these are the subjects I will expound on. I speak according to the measure of wisdom and knowledge that is conveyed to me by the Holy Spirit, and according to my level of maturity at the time. I am forever learning, growing, and receiving new revelation daily, amen.
I am not trying to be a celebrity on Times Magazine. I have found the media to be no one's friend. They lift you up one day and slander your name the next day. I am a chosen vessel, direct, opened, honest, bold and out spoken. I do not bite my tongue, if I have something to say I will say it. I do not fear men or women. If the Holy Spirit uses me to correct or rebuke then that is what I will do. You do not have to like me or agree with everything I say but you will respect me.
I was Charged to Preach the Word! Whether the opportunity seems favorable or not, Convenient or not. I was not called to be your friend but to tell you what says our God. I was told to rebuke, warn, and correct. If you have a problem with what I say take me to the Lord in prayer!
I charge [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by (in the light of) His coming and His kingdom: Herald and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready].
Whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preachers of the word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince then rebuking and correcting, warning and urging and encouraging them, being unflagging and inexhaustible in patience and teaching.
For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable Number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold.
After will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions. As for you, be calm and cool and steady, accept and suffer unflinchingly every hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully perform all the duties of your ministry.
2 Timothy 4:1-5 Amplified
My Ministry is geared mostly to those in Leadership and those who call themselves Pastors. Some will say that I am always warning, correcting, and rebuking Pastors and those in Leadership. Let me say this and make myself clearly understood! Pastors and those in Leadership are not above God’s Law. And, don’t get that twisted. Neither is Prophetess Roberts. This is what Prophets do! I happen to be one of the Prophets who isn't afraid to do my duties. (warn, rebuke and correct)
Before I go any farther let me make myself clearly understood. When the Holy Spirit called me into Ministry, He addressed me as Prophetess Roberts. Every since that day He called me into Ministry, He never once called me by another name. Prophets are Called, not voted into office, or paid a salary to be in office. True Prophets are not Hirelings! Don’t get true Prophets and Prophets for hire twisted! There is a big difference!
The word of God says, when God calls us He calls us by our names. You will never know who you are in Christ if you do not know how to listen effectively to Him who calls you, Amen.
But, He who enters by the door is a Shepherd of the sheep. The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it; and he calls his own sheep by name and brings (leads) them out. When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. They will never [on any account] follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not know the voice of strangers or recognize their call.
John (10:2-5) Amplified Bible
These scriptures are talking about Mature Christians. Mature Christians know how to be lead by the Holy Spirit because they are mature enough to know the voice of God when He is speaking to them. Mature Christians know how to follow instructions; they are responsible and know how to allow the Holy Spirit to be their guide.
Young sheep are called lambs. Lambs are like immature Christians who need a Pastor. Mature Christians are lead by the Spirit (Holy Spirit) not man. Lambs are lead by their Spiritual Leaders because they are still on milk and need a man or woman, someone they can physically see to guide them. This is why we have Pastors inside the Body of Christ.
When Moses was on Mount Sinai for forty days and nights. The people of God became weak, frustrated, Irrational, and selfish. They had their eyes on man. Not God, which is a Spirit. They failed to realize that even though Moses (their spiritual leader) was with God, God was still with them, God is omnipresent! Sheep are aware of this but lambs look to men for guidance.
And there is nothing wrong with this! But, let me make myself clearly understood. You do not have to belong to a particular church group or organization to be mentored by a Pastor ...........Period! A Pastor is a person whom God has placed into your life to mentor you while you are on milk. All Pastors are not good mentors! Neither are all Pastors called to be Pastors and possess the Pastoral gifts. A Pastor can be a Teacher, Parents, Friends, Co-workers, Brothers or Sisters in Christ, Uncle or so on.
And I will give you Pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
(Jeremiah 3:15)
Let me make myself clear! You should not always need to be fed knowledge and understanding by man's wisdom. Meaning you should not always need a Pastor. The word of God said, "Your faith Should Not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God!" There should come a time in your life that you should know how to totally rely on the Spirit Man within.
But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But Just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], Just as [his anointing] has taught you [to do]. you [to do]. And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have and enjoy perfect confidence (boldness, assurance) and not be ashamed and shrink from Him at His coming.
1John (2:27-28) Amplified Bible
Now that I have grown into maturity, I no longer see my Pastors as my mentors/advisors, they have become my best friends. There comes a time in your life when you need to grow up and get off milk and stand on your own. My website is for meat lovers not milk drinkers!
You have come to need milk, not solid food. For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]! But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.
Hebrews 5:11-14
If you are on My Website and you are still on milk, you may get offended with what I am saying because immaturity and maturity sometimes don't mix! When I was called into ministry thirteen years ago, the milk stopped immediately! And I was placed on solid foods. It did not take me long to eat meat because the person feeding me was not a man but a Spirit, The Holy Spirit!
My Website and Ministry is for Mature Christians like myself. For those who do not need a Pastor's guidance. For Mature Christians who know the Voice of God and can be effective in their spiritual walk with or without going to a physical building.
Believers have been lead to believe they need to be under a Human Covering. This is not true but a lie! But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
(1 Corinthians 11:3)
Christ is the Head of every man and woman, meaning He alone covers His Church. There is nowhere in this scripture where Pastors are to cover anyone but their wives. If they have one. The only people a Pastor have been given the authority to cover (rule over/headship) are those in his own household, and most of them are not doing a good job at that, yet and still they have the audacity to say they are a spiritual covering for God's Church?
We have Pastors divorcing and remarrying. We have Pastors children running wild and out of control, yet and still they have the audacity to say they are a covering? How can they be a covering when their own lives are tore up from the floor up! We cover each other in prayer and in Love! But the Spiritual Covering (Head Ship) belongs to God all by Himself. What Pastors are doing today is taking God's glory and placing it on themselves. They may preach Christ but, they are getting all the glory! This is why we hear of Pastors Appreciation day, Pastors Anniversary, Pastors Love Offerings, Pastors Birthday Celebration and the list goes on and on! You have churches that stand to their feet when the Pastor enters the building as if God just entered the room; mind you Christ was already there before the Pastor came!
You have one Natural Father and you have one Spiritual Father. You cannot have two Spiritual Coverings. Anything with two heads looks deformed and perverted. And, we question why the Body of Christ is in a mess?
Let me take you here! and the word of God says:
THEN JESUS said to the multitudes and to His disciples, The scribes and Pharisees sit on Moses' seat [of authority]. So observe and practice all they tell you; but do not do what they do, for they preach, but do not practice. They tie up heavy loads, hard to bear, and place them on men's shoulders, but they themselves will not lift a finger to help bear them. They do all their works to be seen of men; for they make wide their phylacteries (small cases enclosing certain Scripture passages, worn during prayer on the left arm and forehead) and make long their fringes [worn by all male Israelites, according to the command].
And they take pleasure in and [thus] love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues, And to be greeted with honor in the marketplaces and to have people call them rabbi.
But you are not to be called rabbi (teacher), for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone [in the church] on earth father, for you have one Father, Who is in heaven. And you must not be called masters (leaders), for you have one Master (Leader), the Christ. He who is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Whoever exalts himself [with haughtiness and empty pride] shall be humbled (brought low), and whoever humbles himself [whoever has a modest opinion of himself and behaves accordingly] shall be raised to honor.
But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces; for you neither enter yourselves, nor do you allow those who are about to go in to do so.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you swallow up widows' houses and for a pretense to cover it up make long prayers; therefore you will receive the greater condemnation and the heavier sentence.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you travel over sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes one [a proselyte], you make him doubly as much a child of hell (Gehenna) as you are.
Woe to you, blind guides, who say, If anyone swears by the sanctuary of the temple, it is nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the sanctuary, he is a debtor [bound by his oath].
You blind fools! For which is greater: the gold, or the sanctuary of the temple that has made the gold sacred? You say too, Whoever swears by the altar is not duty bound; but whoever swears by the offering on the altar, his oath is binding.
You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar which makes the gift sacred? So whoever swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. And he who swears by the isanctuary of the temple swears by it and by Him Who dwells in it. [I Kings 8:13; Ps. 26:8.]
And whoever swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by Him Who sits upon it. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you give a tenth of your mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected and omitted the weightier (more important) matters of the Law--right and justice and mercy and fidelity.
These you ought [particularly] to have done, without neglecting the others. You blind guides, filtering out a gnat and gulping down a camel! Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the plate, but within they are full of extortion (prey, spoil, plunder) and grasping self-indulgence.
You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and of the plate, so that the outside may be clean also. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you are like tombs that have been whitewashed, which look beautiful on the outside but inside are full of dead men's bones and everything impure.
Just so, you also outwardly seem to people to be just and upright but inside you are full of pretense and lawlessness and iniquity.
Matthew 23:1-28 (Amplified Bible)
God's Word says, that we are Not supposed to call Men our Spiritual Fathers! (Spiritual Covering) we are to be called Brothers! When you have totally learned how to rely on the Holy Spirit you have One Teacher, One Master (Leader) and One Father! You know longer need two Instructors. You know longer need a Pastor or some one to guide you because; you are being lead by the Holy Spirit within.
If you think about it, who had your back and kept you covered when you were out in the world doing everything and anything you wanted to do? Do you think that changed because you started going to a building someone called church? Going to a building doesn't stop you from sinning!
The devil is a liar! Christ covered you then and He is covering you now, inside or outside of a building that someone calls a church building.......Please!! The same rain that rains on the Saved also rains on the Sinners there is but "One God" meaning "One Covering" and that (One Covering) is a Spirit and not your Pastor and not His or her building.
I had an individual tell me that I needed someone to be accountable for me. Meaning, I needed to belong to a church group and have a Pastor account for me? First, I am the church. I take church everywhere I go. Second, I am 48 years old. I have been a Christian all my life.
I am a mother of two children (24 and 21). I am a mother-in-law and a grandmother. And, this person had the nerve to tell me that I needed someone to be accountable for me? I am a grown woman! And, I have a Husband who accounts for me. His name is Jesus Christ, my Comforter, Provider, and my Spiritual Covering. It has been like this for 14 years and we are doing just fine.
Pastors are only accountable for their members until they reach accountability, which is spiritual maturity. Once Christians come to that place of maturity in Christ, they are responsible for their own lives, their own salvation, and their own actions. Do not get that twisted! I am the one to tell you! When we stand before the Lord and the books are opened. We will stand before the Lord for ourselves. We will be judged according to our own works and deeds.
I am no longer accountable for my two sons Albert (24) and Jeremy (21) because they no longer live in my home. Even when they were living with me. Once they became a certain age, they were accountable for themselves. If my oldest child commits a crime, am I accountable for his action? Would his crime be on my record? I think not! The same principle applies to Pastors and their church homes.
The Justice of a Righteous God
Then another message came to me from the Lord: “Why do you quote this proverb concerning the land of Israel: ‘The parents have eaten sour grapes, but their children’s mouths pucker at the taste’? As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, you will not quote this proverb anymore in Israel. For all people are mine to judge—both parents and children alike. And this is my rule: The person who sins is the one who will die.
“Suppose a certain man is righteous and does what is just and right. He does not feast in the mountains before Israel’s idols or worship them. He does not commit adultery or have intercourse with a woman during her menstrual period. He is a merciful creditor, not keeping the items given as security by poor debtors.
He does not rob the poor but instead gives food to the hungry and provides clothes for the needy. He grants loans without interest, stays away from injustice, is honest and fair when judging others, and faithfully obeys my decrees and regulations. Anyone who does these things is just and will surely live, says the Sovereign Lord.
“But suppose that man has a son who grows up to be a robber or murderer and refuses to do what is right. And that son does all the evil things his father would never do. He worships idols on the mountains, commits adultery, oppresses the poor and helpless, steals from debtors by refusing to let them redeem their security, worships idols, commits detestable sins, and lends money at excessive interest. Should such a sinful person live? No! He must die and must take full blame.
“But suppose that sinful son, in turn, has a son who sees his father’s wickedness and decides against that kind of life. This son refuses to worship idols on the mountains and does not commit adultery. He does not exploit the poor, but instead is fair to debtors and does not rob them. He gives food to the hungry and provides clothes for the needy.
He helps the poor, does not lend money at interest, and obeys all my regulations and decrees. Such a person will not die because of his father’s sins; he will surely live. But the father will die for his many sins—for being cruel, robbing people, and doing what was clearly wrong among his people.
"What?’ you ask. ‘Doesn’t the child pay for the parent’s sins?’ No! For if the child does what is just and right and keeps my decrees, that child will surely live. The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent’s sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child’s sins.
Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness. But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done.
“Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. However, if righteous people turn from their righteous behavior and start doing sinful things and act like other sinners, should they be allowed to live? No, of course not! All their righteous acts will be forgotten, and they will die for their sins.
“Yet you say, ‘The Lord isn’t doing what’s right!’ Listen to me, O people of Israel. Am I the one not doing what’s right, or is it you? When righteous people turn from their righteous behavior and start doing sinful things, they will die for it. Yes, they will die because of their sinful deeds. And if wicked people turn from their wickedness, obey the law, and do what is just and right, they will save their lives.
They will live because they thought it over and decided to turn from their sins. Such people will not die. And yet the people of Israel keep saying, ‘The Lord isn’t doing what’s right!’ O people of Israel, it is you who are not doing what’s right, not I. “Therefore, I will judge each of you, O people of Israel, according to your actions, says the Sovereign Lord. Repent, and turn from your sins. Don’t let them destroy you! Put all your rebellion behind you, and find yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O people of Israel? I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live!
Ezekiel 18 (New Living Translation)
Buildings my Sisters and Brothers have nothing to do with your Salvation. What these scriptures are saying is that you do not have to go through a man who calls himself Pastor to get to Jesus. Christ saves not that building you attend every Sunday Morning. For such as high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
Hebrew 7:26-27
Going to church on Sunday mornings is a tradition, not a commandment from God for your Salvation! Do not get traditions and the reality of God's Word twisted. There is a Big difference between God's Word and the traditions of man and I am the one to tell you!
Pastors and Spiritual Leaders have used this verse from the bible to keep believers stuck inside church buildings for years. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching Hebrews 10:25
Pastors fail to teach their members that they can assemble themselves anywhere at any time IN or OUT of a building and, it does not take a large group to fellowship in Christ but two or three touching and agreeing in the Name of of the Lord!
You do not have to be in a building to touch and agree this is 2010 we have telephones today, we have televisions, we have computers and radios today, we have Cds' tapes, and videos.
One day while I was driving to St Pete, I put in one of T.D Jakes tapes and the anointing I received in my car was awesome! There was an agreement made while I was driving between The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost, T.D Jakes, and myself. God is Omnipresent, He is everywhere at all times. To think that you have to be in a building to be touched by God is......... Foolishness! And don't get it twisted!
You do not have to be in a building to exhort one another! Neither do you have to be in a crowd to lift up the name of the Lord! Most of my encouragements come from people from the telephone, emails, text messages or from my computer. Not from a church building. I out grow the traditional building a long time ago.
Again I say unto you, that if Two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Matthew 18:19-20
The only thing that building you attend on Sundays can cover you from is the weather if the building is strong enough. How can a building be your covering when Pastors lose their buildings all the time? So when your Pastor is put out of the building because he or she cannot pay their rent or mortgage I guess there goes your spiritual covering.
And, as for the Pastor himself or herself, he or she can not cover you because they are not perfect themselves. And tell me what are they covering you with? And please tell me what are they covering you from? What does these People have that you don’t have, or can’t get from God for your selves?
I guess when your Pastor dies your spiritual covering dies as well. Then you will have to find someone else to cover you who sooner or later will die also. Also what happens when your spiritual covering ends up on the News for beating his wife or molesting little girls or boys?
Pastors in the news is common these days! once this happens then you will have to go find another person to cover you who may be worse than the last one. You had better learn how to trust and rely on the inter man within or you will find yourselves in a mess! One reason why the Body of Christ is in a mess today is because people believe in the wrong covering!
Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin. Isaiah 30:1
Anyone can start a Place of Worship. All you need is a vision and a name. Just because someone starts a church gathering doesn’t mean you have to put their business before your own needs or the needs of your family. This is crazy and does not make sense to me. Neither does it make sense for intelligent people to give someone their money every payday year after year to keep telling them the same things. What is up with that? Christ never told anyone to do this.
You can have church and bible study in your own homes. Going to a social gathering is a choice not a necessity. Second what is a church assembly? A church assembly is a place where two or more believers gather in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, touching and agreeing.
And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was mark; where many were gathered together praying.
Acts (12:12)
It doesn’t take a large crowd to have church. The building is not and has never been The Church. The Church is the people in the building. If you take the people (The Church) out of the building the building becomes another unoccupied piece of property.
There are too many Christians who feel they have to go to a building with a name on it to be saved. Any building that has a name on it belongs to someone; it’s their business. You do not have to go to a person’s business to be saved. Too many Christians get bent out of shape over someone’s corporation. You have Christians who will fight or be willing to give up their lives over a business/ministry that’s not theirs.
And when the day Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts (2:3-4)
The Holy Spirit has no preference. He will be wherever there are believers touching and agreeing. Jesus’ ministry was not inside a building with a name on it, and neither were the Apostle’s ministry inside a building. Most of their work was done outside or in homes. The blind was healed, the lame man walked, and demons were cast out. The miraculous works of Jesus and His Apostles were done outside. Most of those that came to Christ came from the streets, they were saved outdoors.
Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and them whic` were vexed wit` unclean spirit{: and they weve healed everyofe.
Acts (5:15)
The Eunuch was in his chariot when God sent Philip to preach to him. The apostle Paul was on his way to Damascus when he was saved. Peter was sent to Cornelius home to save those that he had gathered at his house. I was called by God as I sat with a patient in the hospital while she slept. Simon, Peter and Andrew were called while fishing. Gideon was called while threshing wheat. Elisha, the son of Shaphat, was plowing with twelve oxen’s when he was called. The God we serve is everywhere at all times. He does not and will not ever need a building to save.
And at mid night Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s band was loosed.
Acts (16:25-26)
Not only did God visit Paul and Silas at prison. He also saved the guard who was watching over the prisoners. And not only did God save him, but all his household was saved. On the day of Pentecost they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. Where? Inside a house. God doesn’t care where you serve Him. All He wants is for you to call on His name.
Jesus met the woman at the Well. He went to the graveyard and raised Lazarus. He went to the ruler’s house and raised his daughter from the dead. He never told them to bring them to a church building. Jesus healed someone who had been sick for thirty-eight years, near a pool. Zacchaeus was in a tree when Jesus called him and saved his house. Jesus was at a gate in town when He raised the dead.
Jesus healed many on Simon and Andrew’s door steps. Blind Bartimaeus was sitting by the highway when He was healed. Jesus healed some as he came down a mountain. Buildings do not and will never impress Christ. While the Holy Spirit is in the mega churches, He is also in the smaller churches across town.
I have heard Pastors and church goers quote this scripture "Forsake not the assembling of youselves together." They tell you this so you can come to church and bring your money with you. You do not have to be in a building to be assembled with other believers. It’s your choice.
Women of God, you can be your own first lady in your own home and your husband (if you have one) can be the Pastor. Your children, family and friends can be your congregation. You do not have to go a building to lift up the name of Jesus, all you need is two people touching and agreeing, and Jesus said in His word that He will be there.
Put on some gospel music, close the widows, and have yourselves a Holy Ghost good, time in the Lord, in your own homes. By doing this you have fulfilled this scripture. Take that ten percent that you give every payday and sow a seed. Save and invest the rest into your own Ministry. A day is coming when you are going to wish you would have listen to Prophetess Roberts and saved that ten percent that you give ever payday.
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews (10: 24-25)
When the Apostles said, Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. They did not have a church building to gather the disciples in. They met in homes or other places where disciples came together. Jesus and the Apostles preached and taught mostly on the outside of buildings.
Christians are brainwashed into thinking that the building they worship in is going to save them. If you sin before you went to church then you are a sinner when you go to church if you did not repent for that sin. Going to church doesn’t wipe your sins away don’t get it twisted.
You can go to a building every Sunday and still be lost. There are no guarantees that you will be saved because you go to a building every Sunday morning. The church may not know what you are doing undercover but God does.
Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew (7:21-23)
Christ saves, we cannot save ourselves without relying totally on the Holy Spirit to guide us into righteousness. Change starts in the heart and in the mind. Changes start when you make up your mind to release that negative spirit that causes you to sin in the first place. Sinning is a choice. We sin because we choose to sin. Many Christians try to cover up their sins by attending church.
By attending church those who sin feel self-righteous by going, but in reality the sin is still there and needs to be dealt with. There are Christians who feel sinners are those on the outside of the church. They are the ones on the inside; "undercover sinners" and "in the closet sinners."
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.
Matthew (6:24)
Church goers have never impressed me and never will. I watch their behavior when they are not in a church building, for this is what determines a real Christian. The word of God says “By their fruits ye shall know them.
I am not putting down going to a place of worship, but most believers go for the wrong reasons. Many go for a quick fix, a Spiritual High, and once church is over they find themselves back in the same depressing situation they were in before they came to church. This same cycle continues year after year like a rollercoaster ride.
Up and down and up and down and up and down. You see sooner or later you will become dizzy and become confused because you have been on that rollercoaster ride for too long. It is time to get off that rollercoaster and get a grip on life and that is called Spiritual Maturity in Christ Jesus.
You go to church to get something, that something is called deliverance from whatever situation you were in before you got there. You could be feeling down and depressed, or having marriage problems, financial problems, work related issues, sicknesses or death. Church starts before you get to church.
You should be so focused on receiving something from God that as soon as you reach the door you should know that God has answered your prayers. You should never come to church and leave the same way you came.
Soon as you walk in the door you should be slain in the Spirit and wake up knowing that you have your deliverance from whatever the problem was before you got there. Too many church goers, play church, they have no idea what church assembling is all about. You go to church to lift each other up in the word with prayer and in Love. You come to church to be empowered!
You hear about Christians going to church, but you do not here about them being set free or delivered from their sins. The reason is, most Christians see church as Sunday morning entertainment and nothing more.
There are believers who believe the building they worship in belongs to God. There are also believers who believe God dwells inside these buildings, and soon as something happens they run to a building with a religious name on it.
In other words, they run from the interman within (the Holy Spirit) and run to the man on the pulpit! It doesn't make sense to me! Then again I am not on milk, I eat solid foods! You brought Christ with you when you came to that building and when you leave the Spirit of God leaves also.
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple are ye?
1Corinthians 3:16-17
Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a minister in the sanctuary and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.
Hebrews (8:1) NASB
God is not impressed with your church home. You may be, but God isn't. God can care less where you are when you lift up His name. God’s home is in heaven and the earth is His foot stool.
Thus says the Lord: heaven in My throne, and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house would you build for me? And what kind can be my resting place? For all these things My hands has made, and so all these things have come into being [by and for me], says the Lord. But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at my word and reveres My commands. Isaiah (66:1-2) Amplified bible
Personally, I feel the church building should be for sinners. It should be for those who are not saved and would like to get to know Christ as their savior. In other words, those who are lost and seeking salvation. For the son of man came to seek and save that which was lost!! Luke 19:10
When you go inside the House of God today you cannot tell the saved from the sinners....... why? Because the "so called to be saved" Christians are sitting in the House of God with the sinners. The saved should not be inside the building but on the outside of the building in God’s harvest doing greater works. I will say it again! The church building is not for old converts who say they are saved.
And the Word of God goes on to say: Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your [spiritual] hearing and sluggish [even slothful in achieving spiritual insight]. For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God’s word. You have come to need milk, not solid food.
For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]!
But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate any distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.
Hebrews 5:11-14
Basic common sense! The church building should be a place where you bring your children because the bible says raise up a child the way he shall go and he shall not depart from it. You bring your children to church to be disciplined in the House of God, and you bring your children in the House of God to learn about salvation and Christ. How does it look, grown folks sitting in church with their children? You should feel embarrassed as an adult.
Also, the House of God should be a place to come when you are running on empty and you need a spiritual uplift in your spirit to make it another day, in other words, a place to be recharged and strengthened in the Holy Ghost.
But let me say this! Mature Christians know how to be recharged daily by getting into the word and by speaking the word of faith in their spirit and in their lives! Mature Christians do not have to wait until Sunday to go to a physical building to reactivate their faith in God because they are mature enough to know God is in them and all around them at all times.
The church building should be a place where saved and unsaved can come for counseling. A place where drug addicts, alcoholics and prostitutes can come and be set free and delivered. The church building should be a place where demons are cast out and the sick are healed.
Healthy Christians should not be inside the church building unless they are the Pastor or administrators working inside the building, keeping the doors to the church opened. Even then they should be busy working in their own individual ministries and callings.
Like I said before, the church building should not be for old converts who claim they are saved. Old converts should be outside the building working in God’s harvest doing greater works outside the physical building.
It is a shame before God that you have old converts who have sat in church for years and do not know how to minister to the lost. After Jesus taught His disciples He sent them out in pairs. He did not keep them in a building to collect tithes and offerings.
Jesus' agenda for dying on the cross was not money, title, position nor power and do not get that twisted! Anyone with common sense knows you go to school to be taught something. Once you become educated in that area that you went to school in, you then go out in the field that you were taught in and WORK!
The Church should be about Ministry!! Visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, prison ministry, rehab ministry, nursing home ministry, missionary work, seeking the lost, street ministry....... in other words the Church should be heavily involved in outreach Ministries!
True Christians are about hands on..... Not pew sitting! And don't get that twisted! Come out! Come out! Come out of those buildings says our God!! Come out and work in His harvest! Our Lord says the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few. Come out! Come out of those building says our God and work in His harvest!!
You do not go to a physical building that one calls a "church home" to stay. Where does it say believers are to find a church building and call that building their church home? Find church home in your bibles! This is another man made doctrine that Pastors use to gain control and wealth. The Word of God says, Pastors are to equip, meaning, to prepare their flock for Ministry. In other words bring out the Ministry that the Holy Spirit has placed inside of them to become Ministers.
And He ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils. Mark 3:14-15
After this the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them two by two ahead of them to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Luke 10:1-2
Jesus said the workers are few and to ask the Lord of the harvest to send out more workers in His harvest. Jesus never told anyone to find a church home and rest! What are you resting for if you have not done anything!
You do not go to church to do nothing but sit! It is called, laziness when believers comes to church and do nothing year after year! It is an unproductive cycle (spirit) that continues from generation to generation. There is a generational curse on the church called Laziness! Most church goers come to church and sit. Go home and eat. They teach their children to do the same thing year after year and it becomes a cycle. I have a question, what does God get out of that? It surely is not the Ministry of Christ! Christ's Ministry was not inside a building! We are suppose to be laborers not sitters! God gave us gifts so we could be actively involved in ministry.
And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church),
[That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.
Ephesians 4:11-13
Pastors should be equipping their members to be Ministers, not encouraging them to come to church and sit! For those who have children, doesn't it offend you when your children sit around the house and do nothing? Sooner or later you will tell them to get up and do something! Same thing applies with your church homes.
God wants us doing something! You go to church to be prepared for Ministry, and once you have been empowered by the Holy Ghost you should be sent out in God's harvest to do the works that Christ did but greater works!
What is the point of paying a Pastor to equip you and you are not being equip for Ministry? it is a waste of time and money. Most Pastors today do not prepare their congregation for ministry and send them out. Instead they brainwash them into staying under what they call their Spiritual Covering so they can pay their bills.
They use mind games to manipulate their members into staying so they can receive tithes and offerings. This is not the will of God for His church. God wants us out of the buildings and working in His Harvest!
Let me say this! When you come before the Lord and the books are opened, you will be judged according to your works. What is God writing in your books about you? It is not about your Pastor or which organization you are in. It is about Ministry and doing the work of Christ, and greater works! You cannot do greater works sitting!
When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats; And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left.
Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink.
I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me. Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink?
And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You? And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You? And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me.
Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels! For I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome Me and entertain Me, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me [f]with help and ministering care.
Then they also [in their turn] will answer, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You? And He will reply to them, Solemnly I declare to you, in so far as you failed to do it for the least in the estimation of men] of these, you failed to do it for Me. Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.
